IWCA Young Guns Championship

Open to all carvers 17 years old and under.

Three age Groups: 11 and under, 12-14, and 15-17

Entries must be carved and painted by the entrant. Entries may be made of wood, cork, or stretched canvas.

Decoy Categories will be judged for simplicity, durability and practicality.  No fragile parts.  Simple painting schemes encouraged. Decoys will be floated and must self-right except in the 9 and under group.

Bench Category will be judged as Decorative Non-floating including waterfowl, songbirds, shorebirds, birds of prey, game birds and fish.  Habitat is not required.

Judges may not judge the carving of a student or relative.

Mail-in entries will be accepted.
